8:30 AM – Arrival at Shimoni and Dhow Departure Upon arrival in Shimoni, a picturesque fishing village known for its traditional maritime culture, the guides will handle the entry fee payment process for Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park while you take advantage of the facilities and refresh before embarking on your maritime adventure. Board a traditional dhow, a vessel steeped in maritime history, and set sail on the Indian Ocean.

2:30 PM – Visit to Shimoni Slave Caves After lunch, delve into a poignant chapter of history with a visit to the Shimoni Slave Caves. These caves were once used as holding areas for slaves before they were transported to Zanzibar and other destinations. Proceeds from the entry fee to the Slave caves go toward helping the local community.

Late Afternoon: Return to Hotel

3:30 PM – Depart for Bid farewell to the serene beauty of Shimoni as you embark on the drive back to Diani. Arrive back at your accommodation place, where you’ll be dropped off, concluding your day tour.
