1 Week Diving Adventure on Kenya's South Coast

Mwazaro Beach Lodge is situated within a mangrove nature reserve, approximately 80 km south of Mombasa and about 30 km from the vibrant Diani Beach. It offers an ideal escape for those seeking solitude away from the crowds and the hustle and bustle of city life.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Mwazaro Beach Lodge

Arrive at Diani Airport or Mombasa Airport and transfer to Mwazaro Beach Lodge for your overnight stay. Accommodation: Mwazaro Beach Lodge on a half-board basis, including breakfast and dinner.

Day 2: Kisite Marine Park dive or acclimatization

Depart for Kisite Marine Park for a diving experience. Alternatively, use the day to acclimatize before beginning the dives. Accommodation: Mwazaro Beach Lodge on a half-board basis, including breakfast and dinner.

Day 3: Diving in Kisite Marine Park

Spend the day diving in Kisite Marine Park. Accommodation: Mwazaro Beach Lodge.

Day 4: Final Shimoni/Kisite dive and transfer to Diani

Complete the final dive in the Shimoni/Kisite area, then transfer to Diani Beach. Accommodation: Diani Marine Divers Village on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Days 5–6: Diving in Diani

Explore diving in Diani for a distinct diving experience, with the option to undertake two dives and explore the coral reefs. Accommodation: Diani Marine Divers Village on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Day 7: Rest day in Diani

No dives are scheduled. Rest, relax, and enjoy Diani Beach. Optional add-on: choose a one-day safari to Tsavo East National Park through Dream Kenya Safaris. Accommodation: Diani Marine Divers Village on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Day 8: Departure or onward travel

Transfer to the airport for your departure or onward travel arrangements.
